On Wednesday morning, CBS became the third broadcast network to unveil an actual schedule for the fall TV season, after NBC and ABC (but not quite Fox) did the same. What favorite shows are on the move, where has the news landed, and what’s on hold until mid-season?
♦ Stable Eddie CRUSH. returns to its Friday No. 1 spot, where it will kick off new firefighter drama land of fire (with SEAL Teamis Max Thieriot and zoois Billy Burke). NCIS: Los Angeles will in turn move an hour later on Sunday, making way for freshman crime drama Eastern New York.
♦ The True Love Boat will close out a new all-reality Wednesday slate, which is anchored by new seasons of Survivor and Fantastic race.
♦ With only two Thursday sitcoms now in inventory, Young Sheldon and Ghosts (airing half an hour earlier) will lead into the freshman comedy-drama So help me Todd, starring Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin. (Expert: Vegas‘ the second season will end that night.)
