Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney has been named in a lawsuit brought by a swimwear and lifestyle brand named LA Collective who claim she breached an agreement to model and promote their products.
LA Collective said in legal documents reviewed by TMZ that it reached an agreement with the 24-year-old actress last year to be an ambassador and influencer for their new Somewhere Swimwear line.
The company said in court documents that Sweeney appeared to be involved in the project, as it gave its approval on the designs and prototypes produced for the line, according to the outlet.

LA Collective said Sweeney, who plays Cassie Howard on Euphoria, wore the swimsuit on at least five episodes of the HBO series.
The company is seeking damages, as it said in court documents it had forecast $3 million in sales for the swimwear.
Sweeney has signed a deal as an ambassador for Manhattan-based fashion designer Tory Burch for her brand’s line of handbags and shoes, Vogue reported last month.

Sweeney told the fashion outlet that she has been a long-time fan of the brand, dating back to childhood.
“In third grade, my best friend gave us matching Conservative headbands for Christmas, which is so close to my heart,” Sweeney said. “I had never had anything so pleasant; I was so excited I wore this headband every day for weeks. I’m sure my mom thought something was wrong with me, but that was the first good thing I ever had.

Sweeney said collaborating with Burch on the brand’s year-long holiday ad campaign “felt very natural and fluid” and that she “completely hit it off” with Burch when they met. .
