Fortunately, a source confirmed to People that Momoa is “OK” in light of the recent message and that the MRI was simply done as a “precaution”.

Fans had every right to worry, however, given that in March the 42-year-old revealed he had undergone surgery to remove a hernia the day before the Oscars. On the red carpet, he told in addition that he had “just finished filming” the Aquaman where he suffered the injury. “Throwing bodies everywhere… getting old, brother,” he added.
In another hint at his age, he pointed out that he wore prescription sunglasses to help him read the teleprompter as a presenter. “I have to read tonight. I can’t see from afar…these are prescriptions,” he said.
And as soon as one wound was healed, another arose. On May 14, the father-of-two revealed in an Instagram video that he tore his bicep. Still, he continued, doing arm curls in the clip. “Look at that. Left biceps fine. Look to my right,” he said. …it sucks, so it takes a long time to get it back. But I can’t fix it.

Still, Momoa didn’t let any of the setbacks slow him down. He recently finished filming the last Fast and Furious film, x fast, in Italy, and in one scene he is chased by cops on a bicycle “without a helmet”, he said on Instagram. “It’s going to be fun,” he added.
Whether he’s rehearsing for the Oscars from a wheelchair, freezing his stitches backstage or risking it all for an action movie, the star is clearly running on adrenaline.
