Caitlyn Jenner is “shocked” not to have been invited to the Italian wedding of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker last weekend, we learn.
“She’s shocked,” a source from Caitlyn’s team told Page Six of being snubbed by her stepdaughter.
Caitlyn wasn’t invited to the festivities in Portofino last weekend, with a source telling TMZ there’s no hard feelings on Kourtney’s part and that Jenner ‘just didn’t make it’ .
Caitlyn, who was married to Kris Jenner for 22 years, helped raise Kourtney and her sisters.
This is not the first time the 72-year-old former Olympian has been snubbed by the family. He was also not offered a contract to appear on their new Hulu show.
Caitlyn tweeted at the time“Of course not bad blood. I love my family and I’m excited for the show to continue. But I was shocked to hear from the press that I was explicitly excluded from the new show.
She certainly seems very “shocked”!
She added only after 20 seasons from “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” “It’s unfortunate not to have the opportunity to continue with the show. That said, I can’t stress enough how happy I am for my family that it’s continuing!
During a press tour for her book “Secrets of My Life” in 2017, Jenner revealed that she was no longer close to the Kardashians.
“I don’t talk to them anymore,” she said. “Kim and I haven’t spoken in a year. They don’t want me in their lives, they’ve bullied me enough. It’s devastating when your kids do that. It really hurt. I don’t know what what the future holds for us. We’ll see.”
In November 2021, Jenner said her relationship with Kris “isn’t as good as it should be” and “I wish it was closer.”
But in April this year, it seems the family was closer.
“We’re fine,” Kris said during an ABC News special. “We are friends. I see [Caitlyn] when she is at a family party. It worked out a lot.
Caitlyn, who transitioned in 2015 and has a new racing team, also said things were looking up on a recent episode of the “Full Send” podcast.
“My relationship with the family is, you know, very good,” she said. “I mean, we do things together, my kids, this and that… Obviously, Kendall and Kylie, my flesh and blood, I’m very close to them. On the Kardashian side, I see them here and there, but I’m not really close. Kim is probably the closest.
