DL Hughley cites Mo’Nique’s multiple showbiz feuds after she tore him up for Detroit show billing

DL Hughley has hit back at Mo’Nique after the comedian complained she was supposed to headline a comedy concert in Detroit.

In her set, Mo’Nique, 54, called Hughley, 59, by name because she felt slighted she was clearly not the headliner of The Comedy Explosion show on Sunday night, which featured also the Aida Rodriguez comic and was hosted by Josh Adams.

She also alleged that Hughley refused to do the show if it meant getting on stage before her.

Hughley, in response, shared an image of Mo’Nique from the 2009 film Precious in an Instagram post discussing her tirade.

“All you have to do is check the order of the names on last night’s ticket stub and you’ll see who’s confused,” the comedian said. “Against my best judgment, despite my team’s objections and four other occasions where I said NO, I decided to take a chance and work with Monique.
