Master P is ‘overwhelmed with grief’ after announcing that his 29-year-old daughter Tytyana Miller has died after battling ‘mental illness’ and ‘drug addiction’.
“Our family is dealing with overwhelming grief for the loss of my daughter Tytyana,” Master P, 52, wrote in a heartbreaking post on Instagram Sunday night. “We respectfully request some privacy so our family can grieve.”
The ‘Burbons And Lacs’ rapper added that he was grateful to those who supported him as he and his family mourned the loss of his baby girl, adding that Tytyana suffered from mental health and addiction issues.
“We appreciate all prayers of love and support,” he wrote. “Mental illness and addiction is a real problem that we can’t be afraid to talk about.”
He added: “With God, we will get through this. #My angel.”
Master P’s 32-year-old son Romeo also shared he was mourning his sister in an Instagram post.
“We appreciate all the prayers, love and support, and although this is a sad time, I am forever grateful for the memories I had with my amazing sister,” he wrote Sunday. “Love on your loved ones, life is short. The silver lining, I know she is in a much better place and finally at peace and free. God bless you.”
Master P and Romeo fans flooded the comment sections with words of encouragement and prayers.
“May she rest in peace and anyone in trouble right now ask for help ❤️❤️❤️,” one person commented on the post.
“I’m so sorry for your loss [sic]! Prayers for you and your family! 🙏🙏❤,” a second person wrote.
“😢🙏🏿 #mentalhealth is real. The Lord knows it. I live it. May God be with you and your family Master P. # Condolences,” added a third.
Master P shared Tytyana with his ex-wife, Sonya C. They also have six other children together: Romeo, Itali, 23, Inty, 29, Vercy, 30, Hercy, 20, and Mercy, 16. -eldest daughter, Cymphonique, from a previous relationship.
He and Sonya C married in 1989, but she filed for divorce in 2013. In 2021, they were declared legally single.
