JoJo Siwa clapped back epically at a Twitter troll who tried to slam her for not having the skills to judge “So You Think You Can Dance.”
” Shit. I saw the title “Judge Leaves #sytycd” and got all excited. Yes! @itsjojosiwa was out! But no. It was Matthew Morrison,” the reviewer wrote, referring to the actor’s abrupt exit from the dance competition series.
” Shit ! I thought he brought the Broadway perspective to the show. Maybe not an expert in dance, but in directing. I still won’t look.
Shiva, 19 years old, retweeted the post Tuesday, adding, “literally why tweet that?”
The professional dancer then carried out the development some of her many career highlights: “18 years of dance knowledge, 4 major dance TV shows, I’ve hired over 1000 dancers, 16 dance music videos.”
She added, “If you don’t like me, that’s okay…but if you think I don’t know the dance, you seem like a fool.”
Siwa – who has been dancing and singing since she was a toddler – shot to fame after competing in ‘Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition’ and ‘Dance Moms’ alongside her mother, Jessalynn.
“When my husband came to pick her up at [dance] studio, she wouldn’t want to leave at night,” the proud mom told Rolling Stone in June 2019. “She was 2 years old.
Since then, the multi-talented entertainer has gained millions of social media followers, performed on Nickelodeon, mentored a dance crew on “Siwa’s Dance Pop Revolution,” and toured the world, to name a few. just a few of his impressive accomplishments.
In November 2021, she also placed second – and made history with her professional partner Jenna Johnson – on Season 30 of “Dancing With the Stars.”
Siwa was then selected to judge “SYTYCD” alongside Morrison and Stephen “tWitch” Boss, with Cat Deeley returning as host, for its 17th season.
The show has been in the news since Morrison, 43, confirmed he was leaving after failing to follow ‘competition production protocols’.
“Having the opportunity to be a judge on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ has been an incredible honor for me. Therefore, I have the deepest regret to inform you that I will be leaving the show,” said l “Glee” alum told Us Weekly in a May 27 statement.
“After filming the show’s auditions and completing the selection of the 12 finalists, I did not follow the competition’s production protocols, preventing me from being able to fairly judge the competition. I cannot apologize enough to from everyone involved and i will be watching alongside you all i know will be one of the best seasons yet.
Further details have yet to be revealed, although a source told the outlet “it was a minor infraction that caused Morrison to leave the show.” Page Six has reached out to Morrison and Fox for comment.
