Kate Hudson posed for a rare photo with ex-husband Chris Robinson, 55, this week as their son Ryder graduated from high school.
The 43-year-old Almost Famous actress posted an Instagram photo Thursday night of herself and Chris posing with their son at his ceremony.
The two ex-spouses glowed with parental pride as they stood either side of 18-year-old Ryder, who beamed and showed off his diploma to the camera.

Throwback to 2005: Chris and Kate tied the knot on New Years Eve 2000 after a whirlwind romance that saw them move in with each other just a week after the relationship began
“Today was a big day for our family. A day you talk about when your kids are little and say things like ‘hey one day it will be 2022 and you will graduate from high school!'” Kate wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.
‘Like that day was so far away that he was barely reachable. And then here we are! @mr.ryderrobinson you are the most amazing young man. Raising you has been one of the greatest gifts and pleasures of my life,” she added.
“You bring so much to everyone’s life. You are kind, loving, generous, patient, hilarious and one of a kind. I’m so excited for this next chapter. Cheers baby!”
She continued: “Mom loves you! AND!!! To all the parents who feel the same as me today! CONGRATULATIONS! Letting your babies fly isn’t easy, but let the kids fly!

Ryder graduated from Crossroads School For Arts And Sciences, an upscale Santa Monica school whose famous alumni include Gwyneth Paltrow.

They separated in 2006 and finalized their divorce in 2007, but Kate maintained a friendly relationship with him as they raised their son.
‘When I met Chris it was like nothing else; I had no doubts that I was going to have a child with him,’ she told The Times Online in 2009. ‘Every rule went out the window.’
Kate reflected on the lifelong bond she and Chris have as Ryder’s parents, saying, “No matter who he ends up with, whoever I end up with, we’ll always be together.”
She herself is the daughter of movie star Goldie Hawn and singer Bill Hudson, but Goldie’s longtime love Kurt Russell is the man she calls “Pa”.
