Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant had a great evening.
Saturday, the Matrix Resurrections The 57-year-old actor and his 49-year-old artist girlfriend attended the 2022 MOCA Gala held at The Geffen Contemporary at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. They walked the red carpet together, holding hands and smiling into each other’s eyes during the outing.
The couple went public with their romance in November 2019, making their red carpet debut at the LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci in LA

Reeves and Grant have been friends for years and have even collaborated on works together, such as Reeves’ 2011 book Ode to happiness and 2016 Shadowswhich was also written by Reeves with art by Grant.

In February 2020, Grant’s friend, actress Jennifer Tilly, said Page 6 that the couple had been dating for much longer than fans thought. “I remember a few years ago, about a year and a half ago, [Grant] said, ‘Keanu Reeves is my boyfriend,’ and I was like, ‘Wait. What? What? What?’ Tilly, 63, said at the time.
Grant first addressed his romance with Reeves in March 2020, opening up to vogue about the attention she received once they went public with their relationship.

“I think everyone I knew called me the first week of November, and it’s fascinating,” she said at the time. “But the question I’ve been asking in all of this is, ‘What is the opportunity for good?’ “
When asked if marriage was something she could plan for herself in the future, Grant replied, “Over a glass of wine…I’d like to tell you. The love on all levels is deeply important to my identity. How is that to dodge the question? I don’t believe that isolation is the way. There is a period of isolation that I do as a painter, but i deeply enjoy the experience of being in relationships.
In December, Reeves opened up about love on The Drew Barrymore Show after host Barrymore said “I’m not a fighter, I’m a lover.” He replied, “No, no, because if you’re a lover, you have to be a fighter. … Because if you don’t fight for your love, what kind of love do you have.” Reeves then got up from his seat and laughed, joking that Barrymore had made him “philosophical” about love.
