Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, and his wife Nita Ambani today hosted the the arrangetram ceremony of their future daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant at the Jio World Center in Mumbai. Ms. Merchant is the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant. She got engaged to Anant Ambani in 2019.
A the arrangetram is a dancer’s completion of formal ballet training and stage debut. Ms. Merchant is a disciple of Guru Bhavana Thakar of Shree Nibha Arts.

During the event, Mukesh Ambani posed with his grandson Prithvi, son Akash and daughter-in-law Shloka Mehta. Nita Ambani attended the event in an orange colored silk saree with a floral print on the border.

The event brought together several Bollywood industrialists and celebrities, including Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh.
Ranveer Singh showed up to the event in a red kurta, complete with matching mask and sunglasses.

Salman Khan, meanwhile, opted for a more formal look and was seen in a dark blue blazer and shirt. Salman had returned from the IIFA Awards, held in Abu Dhabi, just hours ago.

Maharashtra Minister Aaditya Thackeray attended the event at Jio World with his mother Rashmi Thackeray and brother Tejas Thackeray.

Also present at the event were former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge. While the cricketer wore a pink and white pajama kurta, Sagrika opted for a simple beige kurta with a bright red dupatta.

Earlier this week, Mukesh Ambani replaced Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani as Asia’s richest person. According to Bloomberg Billionaire Index, Mukesh Ambani’s net worth rose to $99.7 billion while Gautam Adani’s net worth stood at $98.7 billion.
Mukesh Ambani is ranked eighth richest person in the world according to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index.
