Kid Rock defends Oprah’s obscene rant on Tucker Carlson’s show

The self-proclaimed “American Bad Ass” refuses to change his tune.

Despite a fierce backlash, Kid Rock refuses to back down on his boozy rant from 2019, which saw the rocker attack Oprah Winfrey by name during a performance in Nashville.

The 51-year-old rapper dropped the bombshell during the latest episode of “Tucker Carson Originals” on Fox Nation.

“A drunk man’s words are a sober man’s thoughts – I own what I said,” the singer, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, told Tory pundit Carlson, 53. .

The “Redneck Paradise” rocker was referring to the infamous 2019 incident, in which he trashed the billionaire media mogul on stage at the Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse, which he owns in Nashville.

“Oprah Winfrey is like, ‘Hey, I just want women to believe this shit,'” the ‘Cowboy’ singer said in the video, uploaded by TMZ. “F- -k her, she can suck d- -k on the side.”

“I’m not apologizing to anyone. I’m not an Oprah Winfrey fan.

Then, to prove he wasn’t “racist,” Rock also trashed “The View” host Joy Behar, ranting, “I’m not a bad guy, I’m just an honest guy, saying that I don’t like Oprah Winfrey or Joy Behar.

The expletive-filled soapbox session ended with the Trump supporter being dragged offstage by security. Meanwhile, Rock’s Detroit restaurant, Made In Detroit, closed its doors amid a backlash over his profane tirade.

Despite the outrage, the outspoken musician sticks to his guns.

“I don’t apologize to anyone,” the musician said when asked about the incident. “I’m not an Oprah Winfrey fan. I got drunk and the next damn thing I’m on stage [saying] ‘f–k’ Oprah.’”

The Post reached out to Winfrey to comment on Rock’s comments.

Elsewhere in the interview, Rock addressed another embarrassing gaffe that night, in which he mistakenly trashed TV presenter Kathie Lee Gifford when he intended to attack comedian Kathy Griffin for her false beheading of then-President Donald Trump.

“I was trying to sue Kathy Griffin, you know, for supporting Trump’s head, but I’m so beside myself that I’m like ‘f–k Kathie Lee Gifford,'” the sad rocker said. “When it comes up on TMZ or whatever a few weeks later, I’m like, ‘Oh man, I love Kathie Lee Gifford. “”

The “Let’s Go Brandon” singer added, “We’ve been pretty friendly over the years…now I feel a little off.”

This isn’t the first time Rock has doubled down on his controversial comments. In an infamous incident last year, the rioter reacted to backlash over past homophobic remarks – by repeating the same insult that got him into trouble in the first place.

“A drunk man’s words are a sober man’s thoughts, I own what I said,” Kid Rock said.
