If you’ve played a lot of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderyou may have spotted a small but cool bond with him in the latest episode of Obi Wan Kenobi. You may also have noticed a much sadder reminder to a clone wars character.

Don’t read past this point if you care about spoilers and haven’t seen episode four of the Kenobi show or played Jedi: Fallen Order!

In yesterday’s episode of star wars spin-off show Obi Wan Kenobi the titular Jedi, played by Ewan McGregor, must infiltrate the Inquistorous Fortress. (This place, first seen on the show last week, is in itself an important link to Respawn 2020 Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderr.) Sneaking inside the fortress and trying to rescue a captured young Leia, Kenobi encountered a new connection with the popular Respawn star wars game in the form of Purge Troopers.

In the new episode of Kenobi, the old Jedi is seen being surrounded in a tunnel, and the troops sent after him include a few Purge Troopers. This is their first live-action appearance. Eventually, Obi-Wan Kenobi shatters the glass walls of the underwater tunnel, killing them with the flood. It reminded me a similar moment that happens to Darth Vader in Fallen order; the Empire really needs to find better contractors.

The purge troopers were technically first seen in 2018 dark Vador comic, but were then known as Inquisitor Troopers. Then they reappeared in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderin which they were officially named Purge Troopers or Purge Stormtroopers. They work alongside Vader, the Inquisitors, and other Imperial forces to help contain, capture, and kill Jedi and other Force-sensitive individuals. These soldiers are highly trained and use electro-staffs and other melee weapons that can withstand lightsabers. The Purge Trooper armor is also lightsaber resistant, which makes sense when your job is to hunt down highly skilled Jedi who wield lightswords.

There’s also a much sadder and less fun cameo in this new installment. When Kenobi discovers a large Jedi graveyard, a dead Cosian is seen hanging in the strange amber-space. Although it has not yet been officially confirmed, it seems very likely that it is the old Jedi Tera Sinubewho appeared in the fantastic clone wars episode “Lost Lightsaber”.

Sure, that could technically be another Cosian Jedi man, but considering how the show dwells on the corpse and that last week Kenobi mentioned Quinlan Vos—another popular clone wars-era Jedi – it seems likely to me that this is Sinube’s corpse. Let’s hope he came out to fight.
