Britney Spears’ ex-husband crashes her marriage to Sam Asghari | Britney Spears

Britney Spears’ ex-husband was arrested while crashing at his wedding site in Southern California, authorities say.

Capt. Cameron Henderson of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said officers responded to an intrusion call after 2 p.m. Thursday. He said the pop singer’s first husband, Jason Alexander, was detained at the ceremony site.

Alexander was arrested after officers noticed he had a warrant for his arrest in another county, Henderson said.

Earlier Thursday, Alexander live-streamed video from his Instagram account as he approached security for the event. Strolling through what appeared to be a mostly empty but decorated house and gardens, he repeatedly told them that Spears had invited him.

“She’s my first wife, my only wife,” said Alexander, who was briefly married to Spears – his childhood friend – in 2004. Their marriage lasted just 55 hours.

“I’m her first husband,” he continued in the video. “I’m here to crush the marriage.”

Variety reported that deputies are still investigating what happened and will determine if any additional charges will be brought against Alexander in relation to the trespassing allegation.

Spears was also married for two years to dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons, ages 14 and 15.

Spears and her fiancé Sam Asghari were due to wed on Thursday. The couple met on the set of a music video in 2016. They announced their engagement in September last year, shortly before Spears won a legal battle with her family and was released from prison. a 13-year conservatorship in November.

A representative for Spears did not immediately return a request for comment.
