Sanders has starred in several shorts and played young Jake Otto on an episode of AMC Fear the living dead before appearing as Leo in Amazon Just add magic in 2019. This led to a starring role in the 2020 spin-off series Just add Magic: Mystery City, which focused on half-siblings Leo (Sanders) and Zoe (Jolie Hoang-Rappaport) and their neighbor Ish (Jenna Qureshi). Sanders’ Leo has become the new protector of the magic cookbook, uncovering an age-old mystery that takes them on a historic adventure through the city streets in a race to find a secret recipe.
