Now ex-“Black Ink Crew” star Caesar Emmanuel is being investigated by animal services and local law enforcement after video of him allegedly abusing dogs surfaced online.
A representative from Fulton County Animal Services told TMZ … they have been working hard with South Fulton PD to look into what happened outside of Ceaser’s home.
CE’s attorney has already told us the viral video was recorded during the COVID lockdown…but Fulton Animal Services says under the statute of limitations there is still time to charge him.
Animal Rights Groups Are Furious…PETA Sr. Vice President Lisa Lange told TMZ, “Animal abusers are often repeat offenders, and that dangerous person needs to be held accountable and banned from owning an animal.”
As noted, Ceaser was launched the VH1 series on Thursday for the incident, but when spoken to hours later…he insisted on the video does not reflect his true personality.
He claims his dogs were fighting and he was just trying to separate them.
Ceasar’s rep tells us Fulton County police have already interviewed Ceasar, and the rep says the cops found nothing wrong and his dogs are safe, healthy and show no signs of abuse. .
Plus, Ceaser’s team claims it was an ex-girlfriend who reported him to the cops and leaked his surveillance video online…all in revenge because he broke up with her and her. cut off financially.
The representative adds: “Although his actions were not at all appropriate, [Ceasar] sincerely apologizes and feels extremely bad. He faces death threats that cause him fear and depression. His sole purpose was to build an empire to help create jobs and grow the black community in the tattoo industry as the community there is limited.”
Caesar told us he no longer owns one of these dogs, having given it to a friend.
