WWE NXT Results – Bron Breakker vs. Cameron Grimes, The Women’s Title Contenders Match

The show begins and our commentary team of Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett welcome us to tonight’s show. Kayden Carter and Katana Chance’s music hits and goes, they cut through the crowd and it’s time for our opening contest of the night.

Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez vs. Kayden Carter & Katana Chance – NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship, Number One Contenders Match

Jade and Carter start this one. Jade backs Carter to the corner, Carter reverses the momentum and they break. We’re shown NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose alongside NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Toxic Attraction’s Jacy Jane are featured in the Toxic Lounge, keeping a close eye on it. Carter trips Jade to the mat, jumps to the top turnbuckle, steps on the ropes and pins Jade with an arm drag before tagging Chance, who lands an arm drag and goes for the blanket but Jade pulls out. Jade slams Chance and goes for quick cover but Chance kicks out. Jade with a snapmare then a sliding kick to the chest and tags Perez, who times Chance with a pair of forearms then picks up and slams Chance before returning the tag to Jade.

Jade trips Chance to the mat with a leg sweep and goes for the cover but Chance shrugs as Jade tags Perez. Chance eludes Perez and tags Carter, who cracks Perez with a pump kick and then a swinging neckbreaker before going for the cover but Perez pulls out. Carter slams Perez to the mat, tags Chance, who flies over the top rope and pins Perez with a senton into a blanket but Perez pulls out after a two count. Perez pushes Chance away and tags Jade in, everyone is in the ring, Perez throws Carter out, she and Jade hit a double slam on Chance, Jade goes for cover but Chance pulls out. The four contestants come face to face in the ring, Jade and Chance spill out, Perez looks to dive on everyone but Carter sneaks into the ring and lays her down with a lariat and throws her out of the ring then that we are heading for a commercial break.

Back from the break, Carter and Perez fight in the ring. Carter lands a two-legged Boston Crab before quickly switching to a one-legged version. Carter drags Perez to the corner and tags Chance, who then lands a Two Legged Crab as well. Perez brings Chance back in a pin attempt, Chance jumps and reapplies the submission but Perez throws Chance and tags Jade, who cleans the house. Jade cracks the newly tagged Carter with a stepped up ziguri and goes for the cover but Carter pulls out. Carter drills Jade with a super kikc and she and Jade hit each other with simultaneous super kicks that reverse each other. Jade tags Perez, Carter looks to tag Chance but Chance is down. Carter hits Perez with a super kick and Chance is back on the apron and Carter makes the tag. Chance and Carter look for their double team finisher but Jade knocks Carter off the apron and Perez goes to the middle rope and plants Chance with Pop Rox for the 1-2-3!

Winners – Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez

After the match, it was announced that Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez would challenge Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jane for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles at The Great American Bash next week.

We then see Roderick Strong, Ivy Nile, Damon Kemp, and NXT Tag Team Champions Creed Brothers of Diamond Mine backstage. Strong apologizes to the Creeds and everyone hugs him.

Back at ringside, Giovanni Vinci heads to the ring and he will face Ikeman Jiro, after the break.

Back from the break, Nikkita Lyons is closing in on Toxic Attraction, who was with McKenzie Mitchell. Rose challenges Lyons to a game later tonight. Lyons accepts and the Toxic Attraction storm goes away.

Giovanni Vinci vs. Ikeman Jiro

Vince throws Jiro into the right corner as the bell rings. Vinci applies an armbar, Jiro slips but Vinci trips him on the mat and stomps on Jiro’s back. Jiro gets up and goes for a clothesline but Vinci ducks down and plants Jiro with a German suplex. Vinci sends Jiro to the corner and lights him out with a pair of chops to the chest. Vinci goes up top and plants Jiro with a DDT Tornado then picks him up and plants him with a massive Powerbomb for the three count!

Winner – Jean Vinci

We then see footage from Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs’ NXT UK Tag Team Championship win earlier this week and hear from the champions and Fallon Henley, after the break.

Back from the break and ring announcer, Alicia Taylor welcomes new NXT UK Tag Team Champions Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs alongside Fallon Henley to the ring. Pretty Deadly quickly interrupts them and calls them out for a title match so they can restore “prestige” to the titles.

Indi Hartwell vs. Kiana James

A padlock to start. Indi applies a belt and nails James with a trio of arm drags and applies an armbar. James trips Indi on the mat and applies head scissors but Indi rolls it up to force James to break the hold. Indi hits James with a few elbows then a big kick to the face before going for the cover but James pulls out. Indi goes high and crumbles looking for a diving elbow but James slips and rolls Indi for the 1-2-3!

Winner – Kiana James

We then see Tony D’Angelo and Stacks on a bridge. D’Angelo implies that Two Dimes is deceased and throws Dimes’ leather jacket into the ocean and says that Dimes is now “sleeping with the fishes” as we head into a commercial break.

Diamond Mine (Roderick Strong, Julius & Brutus Creed) (with Damon Kemp & Ivy Nile) vs. Joe Gacy & The Dyad

Strong and Gacy start this one. Strong with an armdrag then a shoulder tackle and applies an armbar. Gacy escapes and tags one of the dyads. Brutus is tagged and hits the Dyad with a slam then a suplex. Brutus makes the tag to Julus, who pierces the Dyad with a lariat then a running knee to the midsection. A fight breaks out and we head into a commercial break. Back from the break, Brutus and Gacy go at it in the middle of the ring.

Gacy tags one of the Dyad and they hit a double flatliner and the Dyad follows it up with an elbow drop and a neckbreaker before going for cover but Brutus pulls out. Another fight breaks out, Strong and one of the Dyad reunite as the legal participants and The Dyad hit a flying DDT on Strong for the 1-2-3!

Winners – Joe Gacy and the dyad

We then see NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes alongside Trick Williams backstage, who is with McKenzie Mitchell. McKenzie announces that Hayes will defend his title against Grayson Waller at The Great American Bash next week.

Lash Legend is then shown talking about Alba Fyre. Lash says she knocked out Fyre “permanently” after he attacked her last week.

Diamond Mine is then shown behind the scenes. Roderick Strong is furious and he and Damon Kemp challenge the Creed Brothers to an NXT Tag Team Title match next week.

Xyon Quinn vs. Sanga

Quinn head butts Sanga to start. Quinn hits Sanga with a pump kick then a back drop. Sanga comes back with a running shoulder tackle then an elbow and a clothesline which sends Quinn outside. Sanga follows Quinn outside and sends him back into the ring where he cracks Quinn with a multitude of punches, then a snap and goes for an elbow but Quinn slips and applies a sleeping hold. Sanga escapes, slams Quinn to the mat and plants him with a chokeslam for the three count!

Winner – sanga

Next we see a video package highlighting Cameron Grimes’ run to the NXT World Championship ahead of his title shot against Champion Bron Breakker next week at The Great American Bash.
