Ludacris‘ administrator, Zulu Chakafeared for his life and actually fought back, allegedly in self-defense, during the Atlanta shooting that left the music big boss in critical condition.
We spoke with multiple sources who viewed surveillance footage recorded Sunday outside the APT 4B restaurant. We are told that Chaka, his daughter and another friend were leaving an event while crossing the parking lot when Chaka was approached by another man.
Our sources say that in the video, Chaka and the other man begin exchanging words, but things escalate and the conversation becomes visually more intense…all while allegedly keeping his hand on and around his belt.
We’re told that at one point a female bystander pushed the other man away from Chaka, but he didn’t back down… and then things got really intense when Chaka approached the man again. man, who apparently punches Chaka with his chest, and Chaka grabs the man by the collar.
From there, according to our sources, a group of about 3 or 4 other men – who were standing in the parking lot with the man confronting Chaka – got involved, rushing over and knocking Chaka to the ground with a kick. fist followed by kicks and kicks.
We are told that one guy in the group pushes his way between 2 vehicles, pulls out a gun and fires at least 2 shots. According to our sources, Chaka, who was also armed, can then be seen getting to his feet and firing at least one shot in return.
TMZ got the drama Call 911 from the scenewhere a man claiming to be restaurant security works to help Chaka… who had been shot and injured in the exchange.
A source close to Chaka tells us he was shot at least once – the bullet grazed his heart – and is currently in critical condition.
As to what sparked the verbal altercation…we’re told it’s unclear, although it could have been some sort of argument that the man was not not allowed to enter a party.
A 23-year-old man was also killed in the incident, according to our sources, at this time it is not known who shot him.
